About Srikanth A.
With curiosity to learn, expand real world problem solving skills, become a well rounded professional, I needed to look beyond traditional R&D organizations pain points, PDM/PLM processes tailored for R&D Organizations to expedite their innovation processes, bring \'Quality\',\'Compliant\' products faster to market, but also had to gain an understanding of a product\'s life after it has been handed over to manufacturing, how it is actually produced, to serviced and periodically improved. So it was my conscious effort to transition implementing solutions on one best of breed PDM/PLM platform (DASSAULT 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA) to implementing enterprise scale solutions on best of suite PDM/PLM AND a Cross-Functional ERP platform (SAP S/4HANA) where Design, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory and other enterprise functions collaborate to create a true Digital Thread, single source of truth, spanning a products full lifecycle.This added exposure, I believe, has helped me understand the bigger picture, appreciate life of an idea taking shape into a product, after a BOM\'s thrown over the wall to manufacturing, gain fundamental understanding for and differentiate between engineering to manufacturing BoM\'s, alternate BOM\'s for products manufactured at same plant\'s, different Material Types (Raw Materials, Semi-finished, Finished Products, Packaging,\'Phantoms\'), associated \'Master Data\' and their eventual transition into manufacturing blueprints (Routings/Master Recipes) that feed production/process orders on shop floor, combined with overarching Change Management processes, trial/sample order processes, material planning processes plus the role of Quality Management, Regulatory organizations in ensuring safe, compliant products in adherence to regional regulations and on and on.With my quest to gain industry specific expertise, along with enterprise wide cross functional business processes know-how, combined with ‘software/tool’ depth will help deliver ‘best in class’ solutions for customers I look forward to working with.
