With over three decades of experience in corporate law, governance and strategy, I have dedicated my journey to building solutions that simplify business complexities and unlock growth. As the Founder of Corporate Professionals Group, I set out to create an institution that bridges law, finance, and innovation and today it stands as one of India’s most respected advisory platforms.Entrepreneurship has always been my driving force. I pioneered some of India’s first techno-legal ventures like Takeovercode.com, LLPonline.in, and Delisting.in well before “legal tech” became a buzzword. Recognition like the TATA NEN Hottest Startups Award 2009 for Takeovercode.com was gratifying, but the real reward has been watching these platforms transform how businesses interact with regulation.My career also gave me the privilege to shape India’s corporate governance landscape whether as the youngest President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (2003), a member of the MCA Rule Making Committee for the Companies Bill, or Chair of the M&A Council at ASSOCHAM. These roles allowed me to contribute beyond the boardroom to policy, academia, and nation-building.From winning the Best Student Award at St. John’s College in 1984 to building platforms and institutions that shape today’s corporate landscape, my journey has always been about pushing boundaries and unlocking value.
