Experience

  1. Graduate Researcher

Wu Tsai Institute | Yale University

Sep 2024 — Present · New Haven, CT, US

I engineer and implement proprietary AI foundation models grounded in neuroscience principles and advanced machine learning theory. My research involves two primary thrusts:1. Neuro-Encoding & Brain-Computer Interfaces: I am implementing a framework that decodes neural embeddings into natural language using LLMs. I am also engineering a brain foundation model that supports brain dynamics analysis and neuromodulation.2. Theoretical Model Optimization: I developed a novel theoretical framework for pruning overparameterized deep neural networks. This work illuminates the key mechanisms that enable high sparsity with robust performance, and I\'ve applied these findings to create efficient time-series models for high-frequency data forecasting.
