About Peter Sullivan

As a leader in Information Security I am a respected advisor and consultant to government agencies, unversities, large corporations and military and intelligence organizations in North and South America, Europe, the Mid-East and Africa. I have a solid background in Information Security, risk assessment, computer security incident response and insider threat programs. I have created broad-based information security programs and computer security incident response teams worldwide. I also performed 25 strategic information security and incident response assessments in the US Federal Executive Branch on behalf of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).As an instructor, I am responsible for delivering ten courses in risk management, information security and assurance, computer security incident response, insider threat and digital forensics for the Software Engineering Institute and Carnegie Mellon University. I have trained over 2500 students to date.I have a current Top Secret security clearance and have achieved a number of professional development certifications (CISSP, CSIH, CIAP).
