ABOUT PETER MAYHEW

I\'m passionate about technology and providing excellent customer support.I was fortunate to start my career working on the Apache Longbow in 1998. My career quickly developed to support a team of technicians at Thales. I moved to GE Aviation, creating design changes, obsolescence issues & product improvements on Avionic Displays, Power and Fuels Systems. I was recognised by customers such as Airbus, Hawker Beechcraft & Boeing for going above and beyond with my technical support and this grew my passion for customer support.I moved from manufacturing to customer services to support small cockpit displays. My responsibilities grew to support flight safety, airworthiness approval, project management of technical investigations both in Europe and the USA.I completed my Masters in Advanced Technologies and Building Essential Leadership Skills (BELS) within GE which helped me develop my social intelligence, critical thinking, and how to make a more effective team.I became a Team Leader supporting engineers and technicians both in Europe and USA.My current role is a Senior Engineer & Controlled Title Holder, supporting customers and a technical focal within GE.I\'m currently researching Prognostics and Health Management for my PhD, and developing my knowledge in Artificial Neural Networks & Deep Learning.EXPERIENCE- Green Belt Six Sigma- FRACAS (Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System)- Flight Safety- Project Management- Technical Support for Manufacturing and Customer Services- Air Publications including Service Bulletins, Component Maintenance Manuals- Project Management of Design Changes- Customer / Airworthiness Approval- Engineering Approval / Sign-off- Executive Level (High level) Presentations & Technical Presentation Skills- Quality System: Corrective Actions / Non conformances, ISO- Interviews- Tagging & Tariff trained for Import & Export Control- Artificial Neural Networks, Deep Learning
