Azalea Montessori School is an authentic Montessori non-profit preschool and kindergarten opening Fall of 2019 in Norwood Ohio. We are a member of the Wildflower Schools Network, an ecosystem of decentralized Montessori micro-schools that support children, teachers, and parents. Our schools aspire to give all children and families the opportunity to choose high quality, beautiful learning environments as they follow life’s unfolding journey. Our aim is to be an experiment in a new learning environment, blurring the boundaries between home and school, between scientists and teachers, between schools and the neighborhoods around them. Our schools are small and teacher-led, with deep parent engagement. At the core of Wildflower are 9 principles that define the approach. Visit to learn the story and principles of Wildflower Schools. At Azalea Montessori School, we believe that all children are naturally eager and inquisitive learners that thrive in a supportive and thoughtfully prepared environment. Through an intentionally small school, we invite strong relationships between teacher-leaders, parents and families, and community partners. We have full and part time preschool options and full day kindergarten. Our hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We also offer a nature based aftercare program from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Our space at 4502 Carter ave. is being renovated to provide the best Montessori environment for our families.
