I\'m responsible for developing and executing the EHS vision and strategy for a global filtration company and leading other EHS professionals onsite. I work closely with the Plant Manager and other leaders in Quality, Operations, Facilities, Continuous Improvement, and Maintenance. I joined the team as they were completing a complicated transition of consolidating sites which created challenges with ergonomics and slips, trips, and falls. Successes to date include improving our near-miss close-out rate by 20%, maintaining our ISO 14001 certification, and reinstituting the safety champions team program that accommodates all 3 shifts.
