About Patrick Fiorenza

I’m passionate about the space where research, strategy, and collaboration meet. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on using data to help organizations make better decisions, improve outcomes, and move their missions forward. Today, I serve as CEO of the International Thyroid Oncology Group (ITOG), a global nonprofit consortium dedicated to advancing research and improving care for patients with rare and aggressive thyroid cancers. In this role, I work closely with researchers, clinicians, and advocates to expand collaboration, support clinical trials, and drive progress in an area of critical need. My background includes extensive experience in survey design, data analysis, program evaluation, and both qualitative and quantitative research. I’ve also had the privilege of leading initiatives that build data-driven cultures and strengthen organizational performance. I hold a Master’s in Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School and a Doctorate from the University at Buffalo, where my research focused on AI literacy and career readiness.
