Civica makes software that helps deliver critical services for citizens all around the world.In this role I joined Civica\'s brand-new Platform Engineering organisation, with particular focus on Observability. This new Platform Engineering organisation not only provides world-class tooling to our engineers (with significant impact on developer experience) but, throught the observability work, also has positive knock-on effects to our customers. Supporting the Director and partnering with another Manager and a Principal Engineer to provide leadership to the Platform Engineering organisation. Building a new team dedicated to Monitoring and Observability.
