I am an award-winning sports writer. My focus is on Arizona women’s basketball and other University of Arizona sports. Since I was a little girl this was my dream. I started, stopped and started writing sports throughout the years. Eight years ago, I started as a freelancer for the Star and we built up our coverage of women’s basketball. Now, I am doing this full time. That’s my main focus throughout the year. I’m also an advisor. Developing sales, marketing and content plans that grow businesses.I step into the shoes of your audience; I ask the questions that need answers and I bring perspective. I break rules – but, always with purpose. This is who I’ve always been. Throughout my career:• I have won nearly 96% of all business opportunities from companies like Amazon, HP and Nike – most professional services firms have a win rate of 55%. • I grew a regional practice at Deloitte - from not being invited to bid on new work to winning 100% of new business opportunities during the last recession. The turnaround was completed in four years. The first year we grew 25%.• I developed a four-month digital campaign for BPM that had the most clicks of any national ads on cbs.com. • I increased readership of a PwC leader’s monthly communication by 15%. • I conducted brand audits, developed new messaging and content plans for Armanino’s practices – manufacturing, food & beverage, health care and nonprofit.
