I’m a Mining Engineering student and Product designer at NITK Surathkal, based in Mangalore, with a strong interest in solving real world problems across both engineering operations and digital systems. My core focus lies in mining operations, safety, and production efficiency, while my background in product design helps me approach challenges with structured thinking, clarity, and a user centered mindset.I’ve gained hands on industry experience through internships at Hindustan Copper Limited in Khetri, Rajasthan and Eastern Coalfields Limited at the Sonepur Bazari Project. There, I worked closely with engineers on mine planning, drilling and blasting cycles, production monitoring, heavy earth moving machinery operations, and on site safety practices. These experiences helped me understand how concepts mining translate from textbooks to active mine faces, where every decision impacts both output and worker safety.Alongside engineering, I have a strong interest in design and digital creativity. I’ve worked on app interfaces, branding, and visual communication projects, developing a clean, minimal, and intuitive design style. This design background helps me present technical information more effectively through structured reports, clear visuals, and better documentation, making complex engineering ideas easier to understand and implement.On campus, I actively participate in ISTE, DDFC (Dramatics), HESC, Task Force, and the Photography Club, which have shaped me into a collaborative and adaptable team player who’s comfortable both on field sites and behind a screen refining ideas.I’m looking to contribute to projects where I can apply solid mining engineering fundamentals while also leveraging my design thinking to improve processes, communication, and problem solving
