ABOUT PIYUSHI BERLIKAR

I am a recent MSc Data Science graduate from the University of Glasgow, where I graduated with First Class Honors. I am currently seeking graduate roles in Data Science, Data Analytics, or similar fields to leverage my skills and contribute to data-driven decision-making. My passion for data analytics began during my undergraduate studies, where I discovered how data could uncover insights that drive real-world impact. This interest deepened during my professional experience, where I was able to use data to solve complex business challenges and optimize processes. I am a results-driven data scientist with expertise in impactful data visualization using Tableau and Power BI, programming, systems development, and comprehensive data analysis. In my previous role as an IT Manager at Glasgow University and as a Data Analyst at Digital Lana, I honed my skills in database management, SQL, Python, Excel, and HTML/CSS. I demonstrated my leadership skills through successful university events and competition achievements and received a recommendation letter for outstanding contributions at Digital Lana. My professional experience includes an IT Officer role at the University of Glasgow, where I managed and maintained the university\'s website, and a Data Analyst position at Digital Lana, where I optimized data workflows and contributed significantly to team projects. As a Team Leader at the University of Mumbai, I led a team on the E-Hospital Application project, showcasing my proficiency in database management and team leadership. My Master’s project involved enhancing the reliability of deep learning-based image synthesis, integrating Monte Carlo Dropout to estimate uncertainty in multi-modal image synthesis, highlighting my ability to apply advanced methodologies to complex problems. In addition to my MSc from the University of Glasgow, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. I have also completed various certifications in data analytics, visualization, cybersecurity, and software engineering from renowned institutions. I am excited to apply my skills in data analytics, visualization, data science methodologies, and cybersecurity in a Data Analyst or similar role, where I can contribute to impactful insights and informed decision-making.
