About Piyush Kumar
I completed my bachelor\'s degree from IIT Kanpur with major in Electrical Engineering and minors in Computer Systems and Theory of computing in 2023. Currently, I am a Software Engineer at American Express, working in Payment Tokenisation team where we primarily create and maintain lifecycle of tokens generated from card numbers. I am an active reader and quick to learn any new thing. I have interests in varied domains including, but not limited to, tech, business, finance, philosophy, psychology, economics and history. I am interested in learning new things every single day. Throughout my college years, I have been an active member of the team Aerial Robotics where I developed autonomous UAV solutions and competed in prestigious national and international competitions. I also have research experience in robotics and Reinforcement Learning. I have published (as a co-first author) and presented (in person) a research paper in American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics SciTech Forum in Orlando, Florida.
