I volunteer with MOJO, assisting on working the cases of convicted individuals who maintain their innocence. The organisation is fuelled by a passion for justice, which I share, and I have found this experience thus far to be invaluable. This role has helped me to develop my understanding of the legal system and how it operates in practice, as well as understanding case files to a higher degree. Perhaps most significantly this role has given me experience in an office environment, and has given me the chance to communicate directly with clients, gaining a first-hand understanding of the struggles of those who have been victims of injustice.
