Directly reported to Vice President for Procurement and Supply Chain. Responsible for the global inventory (€ 270Million) management of thyssenkrupp Aerospace and control the inventories using relevant key figures (Day Inventory Outstanding - DIO, Operating Net Working Capital-ONWC, Inventory ageing) across the various global companies and thus across the entire aerospace business unit. Drive and steer inventory performance in the global companies while enabling an inventory risk management framework. Work intensively on the development and optimization of inventory through various enablers such as inventory categorization, intercompany inventory transfers etc. Development of the Global Inventory Reporting Platform. Collaborated with data engineers and global teams to develop a unified inventory review platform, integrating ERP (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), and budget data. Defined KPIs and ensured data accuracy. The platform enables real-time inventory monitoring, aging analysis, and global performance benchmarking. Led and contributed to multiple inventory optimization initiatives, including the development of inventory forecasting models, management of customer overstock, and enhancement of physical inventory verification processes. Collaborated with finance teams to establish inventory target guidelines for the annual budgeting process, supporting a performance-driven culture and continuous improvement objectives. Initiated and led the development of a standardized S & OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process guideline for global entities. Assessed existing processes across all international operations and defined a unified global framework to be adopted company wide.
