At Hertie, I have contributed to research projects funded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS). These projects include studies on the relationship between works councils and employees’ exposure to automation, as well as on social partners’ strategies for integrating low-skilled adults into Germany’s dual system of vocational training. Currently, I play a leading role in the research project “Humans in Digital Logistics” (HuLog), which examines working and employment conditions in the logistics sectors of Germany, Belgium, Poland, and the United Kingdom in the context of technological change. The project is coordinated by the CHANSE programme and funded by Horizon 2020 (EU) and Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). am also co-authoring book chapters for peer-reviewed projects in comparative political economy (e.g, growth regimes) and industrial policy (e.g, trade unions from an international perspective).
