During my AlmaBetter certification in data science,I recently worked on a technical project focused on Netflix Movies and TV Shows Clustering, where the task was to cluster the data based on features such as genre, content, age, and duration. Firstly, I performed Data cleaning and Preprocessing to clean and prepare the data for analysis using tools like Numpy and Pandas, and then performed exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand the distribution of key features and identify trends in the data.I then implemented unsupervised machine learning techniques like K-Means clustering and Hierarchical clustering to segment features such as genre, content, age, and duration. As a result, Movies and TV shows with similar genres were grouped together, such as action films in one cluster and family-friendly content in another. Content Type: TV shows and movies formed separate clusters based on features like episode count and duration and a project was graded 90 out of 100 by AlmaBetter, which gave me strong confidence in applying data science methods to real-world business problems.
