ABOUT PIOTR GOLAWSKI
Piotr was hired as a Software Engineer at Seaward Group following his freshman year at Newcastle University, where he puts the theory and knowledge learnt at university into practice. He acquires valuable experience by working in fast-paced small-size teams developing scalable and flexible solutions for commercial clients.Exposed to working with embedded, desktop and mobile systems, Piotr feels like his time in the industry has really complimented his general engineering skills and enhanced the emphasis of good platform-appropriate design practices, with special focus on reliability and efficient use of available resources. Today, he continues to work during term time, which allows him to gain an edge with his studies and understand how to adjust to rapid changes in Computing, by combining the theoretical and practical approaches to modern software challenges.Piotr is currently reading Computer Science at Newcastle University. Alongside studying for his degree he works on personal projects, focusing on self-development in areas such as Machine Learning, Big Data, 3D Models and Financial Analysis.
