Yuanqing (PingPing) graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, earning her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in just two years. During her time there, she became actively involved with the Women’s Association for Computing Machinery (WACM), where she discovered her passion for technology and community-building. By organizing fundraisers, recruitment events, and biweekly luncheons, she fostered meaningful conversations around career goals, coursework, and mentorship opportunities. She also mentored women in courses such as machine learning, operating systems, and cryptography, helping strengthen both technical skills and confidence within the organization.Professionally, PingPing has demonstrated the ability to thrive both independently and within cross-functional teams through her work as a Cyber Security Penetration Testing Consultant at CliftonLarsonAllen. In this role, she identified and mitigated security vulnerabilities across client environments, conducting comprehensive penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance. By leveraging a combination of manual techniques and automated tools, she delivered actionable insights and customized remediation strategies. Her ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, business-focused recommendations for executive stakeholders strengthened clients’ overall cybersecurity posture and reinforced trust.Beyond cybersecurity, PingPing is working towards her private pilots license and is an active member of the local aviation community. She volunteers with the Minnesota Chapter of The Ninety-Nines, where she supports initiatives that promote girls in aviation through Girl Scout events, community outreach, airport marking projects. On top of being active in organizational events, PingPing is the social media chair and serves on the Fly Now Committee, a committee formed to help organize first time flights for women. PingPing is also involved with EAA Chapter 237, where she serves on the board as Secretary and as the newsletter writer and editor. Additionally, she participates in the Young Eagles program and AirVenture work parties, helping inspire and engage the next generation of aviators.
