I\'m Bryan Pineda, a first-generation Latino studying Computer Science and Math at Fordham University, building technology that bridges gaps.Growing up, I saw how language barriers and limited resources created obstacles in my community. When I learned that 30% of deaf children lack access to ASL instructors, I led a team to develop Sign Buddy, a bidirectional AI translation system. The best solutions come from understanding real human needs.My journey started with Google\'s Code Next program (4% acceptance rate). Since then, I\'ve worked across the full stack: training neural networks, optimizing ML pipelines, and building production web applications. Now, as a Computer Vision Research Assistant, I\'m exploring how AI handles real-world occlusions, not just clean datasets.Whether optimizing 3D compression or rebuilding legacy systems, I ask: what\'s the impact?
