ABOUT PILAR ABREU
I have been developing, delivering and analyzing adult education for over 20 years. I have worked at a medical billing and electronic health records software company as well as in a couple of health and life insurance companies. Currently, I am working on completing my doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. My dissertation topic is about bilingual customer service associates who are trained in English, but have to interpret/translate and communicate with the customers in Spanish. How effective are they? Although, I had to take a break from working on my doctorate dissertation, completing my degree is still a goal of mine.
