Special Projects Engineer Managing various projects requested from Japanese counterparts where US-unique driving and usages require local expertise and detailed understanding. Lead multiple, concurrent projects from job scope development to budget negotiation to execution and reporting. Projects include benchmarking, customer interviews, auction vehicle investigation, winter testing and design communication improvement. Electric Vehicle Sr. Project Engineer Study EV unique customer usages for Nissan Leaf and develop test patterns that cover both common and high stress usages. Acted as liaison for Nissan corporate marketing team to help understand new, technical EV concerns.* Designed first Arizona EV durability driving pattern on public roads using mobile charging stations and careful route planning to achieve over 800 miles/day from a Nissan Leaf with only about 100 miles of range/charge without overheating the battery.* Presented customer benefits of 2013 Nissan Leaf at Nissan’s largest and most influential Leaf owners club in San Francisco.
