I am a chartered engineer with more than 14 years of experience in the UK construction industry and previous experience abroad.I am a structural engineer with attention for technical excellence and client’s satisfaction. I am experienced in managing projects and multi-disciplinary teams of various sizes. I am committed to mentoring and developing staff.I have worked at more than 50 projects in the UK and internationally, covering the various sectors and types of construction contracts from concept to completion. I have carried out structural design and detailing of buildings using all the main structural materials, designing both substructures and superstructures.I have more than 5 years of experience as an Associate Director in a multi-disciplinary international consultancy. I have been involved in commercial and financial aspects of the jobs, by preparing bids and fee proposals, by managing budgets and resources or by advising clients on contractual matters.Throughout my career I have remained deeply focused on the technical aspects of the jobs, by leading teams of structural engineers and BIM technicians while personally preparing various project deliverables. I am proficient in the preparation of reports, specifications, technical guidance and various other documents requiring communication skills and accuracy.I am also committed to my own professional development, always willing to learn to improve my knowledge and performance.
