Working for WWF since 2009 and was leading the global aquaculture work, developing aquaculture policy particularly on fish feeds including potential substitutes such as micro-algae as well as development and promotion of the Aquaculture Stewardship Council and the importance of aquaculture in the context of world food production in a world with diminishing resources and growing population with increased wealth and the impacts of climate change, land-use change, water limitations and ocean acidification. Now working on the development of seaweed farming in the UK.
