About Pierre-Alexandre Metaut
I am currently working for SunPower Corporation as a Performance Manager in the Solar industry. My role is primarily to drive the PDCA process of the Utility Power Plants of North America and South America. I review performance data for SunPower utility-scale projects (1.5 GW) that are under an active Operations & Maintenance (O&M) agreement. The aim is to track overall root causes of under-performance and develop action items to prevent future recurrence systematically across utility-scale fleet. In parallel, I often run performance studies/analysis like the optimization of the production using the inverter\'s data, shading analysis and I also execute the performance tests (capacity tests, PR tests, Energy tests, etc.) after substantial completion of the assets.
