I am a dynamic and driven senior executive and attorney who throughout my career has maintained a business-oriented client focus while always operating with integrity. I am currently an attorney in the Legal, Government Affairs, Security, Risk & Compliance department at S&P Global serving as General Counsel for its S&P Global Energy division. I have overall responsibility for all legal and compliance support for the division and sit on the S&P Global Energy Operating Committee.In addition to my current responsibilities, since joining in 2005 I have provided legal advice and counseling to S&P Global in the areas of general litigation and pre-litigation advice, the impact of regulation on various S&P Global businesses, employment law, First Amendment and press freedoms, print and electronic publishing law, intellectual property licensing, as well as assisting with internal investigations. Prior to joining S&P Global, I was an associate in the Litigation Department in the New York office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where I focused on intellectual property litigation, with a specific emphasis on copyright law.In addition to my legal duties, I serve on the Commodity Markets Council Europe (CMCE) Executive Committee, am a founding member of S&P Global’s employee resource group, Black Organization for Leadership and Development (BOLD), and through BOLD and other initiatives, have a deep commitment to diversity efforts both inside the Company and in the broader community.
