About Pierre Bechelany

Pierre Bechelany serves as the Business Group President of Energy Solutions for Fluor Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for global operations and business development across the energy and chemicals markets. These markets include energy production, refining, chemicals, liquefied natural gas (LNG), re-gasification, power and energy transition. Prior to this role, Pierre served as the President of Fluor’s LNG & Power business line within the Energy Solutions group. He was responsible for global operations in LNG, LNG Re-gasification and Power markets. He also served as Senior Vice President, LNG & Pipelines and as Vice President, Operations for the Upstream business line in the Middle East and Africa.Pierre joined Fluor in 2010 and has over 35 years of upstream oil & gas experience in various fields including LNG, pipeline and compression facility, gas processing, enhanced oil recovery and power projects across North America, Europe, Africa, and Middle East. Pierre has held a variety of leadership roles in operations management, project management, engineering management and construction management. Pierre has a strong project execution background, business acumen and leadership experience in managing major EPC lump sum projects. Prior to joining Fluor, Pierre was a Principal Vice President at Bechtel Corporation and General Manager of the Pipeline and Field Development business line.Pierre holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
