ABOUT PIERCE COLLEY
Pierce joined Guy Carpenter in 2021. He manages a diverse portfolio of Canadian clients, representing the Personal and Commercial, Specialty, and Agriculture insurance sectors and serving regional and national entities. Through his treaty broking activities, Pierce has gained extensive experience creating and implementing reinsurance solutions tailored to client portfolios while cultivating strong relationships with local reinsurance markets. Before joining GC, Pierce began his insurance career in 2013 as a Commercial Lines Underwriting Intern at Aviva Canada. He subsequently gained valuable experience at Colley Insurance, a leading insurance brokerage in Guelph, Ontario. Over his six-plus years there, Pierce provided strategic insights, advice, and support to both commercial and individual clients, assisting them in optimizing their risk management strategies and mitigating potential risks. Pierce holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (BCom Hons) from the University of Ottawa. He has also earned two professional designations: the Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) issued by the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada and the Canadian Risk Management (CRM) awarded by the Global Risk Management Institute. Currently, he is working towards his Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designation through The Institutes Knowledge Group, further enhancing his expertise in the field.
