About Pierce Byrne
Hello! My name is Pierce Byrne and I am currently studying at UC Berkeleys Haas school of business! Growing up in Ireland has shaped a lot of who I am, and I’m passionate about finding ways to blend my background with my interests in business and sustainability.I’m especially interested in the intersection of finance, environmental economics, and corporate sustainability strategy. I’m fascinated by how financial decision-making, capital allocation, and risk analysis can drive positive environmental outcomes, and I’m currently exploring opportunities in sustainable finance, consulting, and climate risk analysis. I’m excited to keep learning and see where this journey takes me!Outside of academics, I love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, running, or just getting out into nature. I’ve always found that exploring new places and challenging myself physically is a great way to step outside of my comfort zone and reset.
