About Pia Saunders Campbell
A mission-driven leader passionate about connecting people with opportunities that support them on their journey and growing teams to deepen their impact. Pia has 20 years’ experience working in international development and the nonprofit and private sectors, specializing in positive youth development, workforce development, measurement, evaluation, research & learning (MERL), and systems thinking. Experience in the education, economic growth, health, democracy, rights & governance, and humanitarian affairs sectors. Pia currently serves as Director of Strategy & Technical Services at the International Youth Foundation, where she leads a team of technical specialists and drives global growth. Pia is an Advisor to the Youth Friendly Standards, Policy Co-Chair of the Alliance for Youth Development, a member of the Youth Systems Collaborative, and sits on the Technical Advisory Group of Generation Unlimited. Her thought leadership publications and contributions span workforce development, entrepreneurship, education, sustainability and impact measurement across sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the USA. Pia finds joy spending time with her family, watching her three young sons grow, and deepening her practice of Ashtanga yoga.
