About Pohan Wang
I am currently pursuing my PhD degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering (ORIE) at UT-Austin. My current research focuses on integrated logistic network design, incorporating Discrete-Event Simulation and operations research modeling. In addition to my academic focus in ORIE, I am passionate about practical software development skills. I have hands-on experience in developing ETL pipelines and web-based dashboards. I have also worked as a data analyst in two international semiconductor manufacturing companies, specializing in statistical data analysis and interpretation. My original background is in chemical engineering, and I have served as a process engineer in the CMP module at TSMC for over three years. Combining my practical module experience with my statistical, optimization, and software knowledge, I am confident that I possess competitive strengths as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Industrial Engineer, with a specialization in supply chain and production inventory optimization.
