ABOUT HA BUI
I am a recent graduate of Soka University of America, majoring in Social and Behavioral Sciences (focus Psychology & Sociology). My main areas of interest are higher education, cultural studies, and social stratification. Having experience as a citizen of Vietnam and an international student in the United States, I was inspired to research educational policies and social inequalities in access to health and education in low- and lower-middle-income countries compared to America and other developed nations. Since 2018, I have been mentoring low-income Vietnamese students to apply for accredited undergraduate programs over the world and conducting quantitative social science research. I am looking for opportunities in both academic and applied settings that are relevant to education, health, and behavior analysis.
