ABOUT PHUONG THAO NGUYEN

As a Manufacturing Specialist at Abzena, I apply my biochemistry and biopharma skills to produce high-quality recombinant proteins for therapeutic applications. I have over 7 years of work experience in downstream processing, column packing, depth filtration, column chromatography, viral filtration, TFF, and other techniques in the biotechnology industry. I started my career as an Extraction Chemist at Phamatech, Inc, and then progressed to various roles at BioLegend and Tanvex Biopharma, where I led teams and projects in process development and optimization. I joined Abzena in 2021 as a Senior Downstream Associate, and was promoted to Manufacturing Specialist in less than a year, thanks to my dedication, performance, and collaboration with my colleagues and clients. My mission is to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative and effective biopharmaceutical solutions that can improve the lives and health of people around the world. I value quality, integrity, teamwork, and continuous learning in my work, and I am always eager to take on new challenges and opportunities to grow and excel in my field.
