ABOUT PHUONG LUONG

I am a Principal System Engineer with over five years of experience applying AI and machine learning (ML) to networking, including large language model (LLM)-powered network automation and network service orchestration. I specialize in developing and productionizing AI/ML solutions for real-time network provisioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.At Tata Communications, I led the development of a GenAI-powered solution that integrates Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with a Neo4j knowledge graph to streamline network management. This solution won the NaaS Accelerator Live Best of Show Award at MEF GNE24. I also pioneered a novel feedback loop mechanism for RAG, enabling LLMs to learn from historical user feedback, which resulted in a 2024 US patent.My expertise spans MLOps, LLMOps, and building full-stack AI solutions, including data pipelines, model deployment, and orchestration platforms such as ONAP. I have a strong background in cloud computing (Azure Databricks), big data (Spark, Kafka), and DevOps (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD), with hands-on development skills in Python, Java, and Angular.I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on resource allocation optimization in wireless networks and have authored multiple publications and patents in AI, ML, and telecommunications.
