Certified Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer’s Representatives (FAC-COR)* Oversee the recruitment process* Co-organize and facilitate division-wide training workshop* Lead the DNA methylation (~1800 samples) and pathology/radiological imaging data (~400 samples) analyses

ABOUT PHUC HOANG
I lead complex, multi-stakeholder cancer research programs at the intersection of science, data, and execution.In my current role as a Staff Scientist at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), I manage multi-million-dollar budgets, oversee high-value contracts and legal agreements, and advise senior leadership on strategic planning, research operations, budget management, and policy development. I coordinate cross-functional stakeholders spanning academia, government, and industry, and I mentor and lead teams of fellows, contractor analysts, and senior project managers to deliver on program goals.My technical foundation is in bioinformatics, statistics, and data analysis, with deep hands-on experience in next-generation sequencing and radiologic imaging data. I’m particularly effective at turning complex scientific objectives into clear roadmaps, governance, and high-quality execution.
