ABOUT PHOEBE SUTTON
I’m a UK-qualified lawyer with a career spanning nonprofit consulting, project management and social impact strategy, based in Nelson, BC.I founded Clarendon Consulting during my first maternity leave in 2022, carried it forward in the background for a couple of years and in 2024, during my second maternity leave, I picked it up again and never looked back. Today, I’m fortunate to run my consultancy full-time, working with incredible organizations across the Kootenays and BC that are making a real difference in their communities.My work covers grant strategy, fundraising and event campaigns and capital project management. With a background that bridges law, philanthropy and technology, I bring a unique perspective to nonprofit growth.Alongside consulting, I’ve spent 20+ years volunteering and serving on boards in the UK, Europe, and BC. This hands-on experience deepens my understanding of both the challenges nonprofits face and the opportunities they can seize.I’m passionate about helping mission-driven organizations secure funding, strengthen operations and turn their vision into community impact.
