ABOUT PHOEBE NADEAU
I am a graduate student at the University of Washington studying Environmental Health Science with an emphasis in Environmental Toxicology. I have experience in organic and inorganic chemistry, cellular and human biology, physics, and fundamental environmental health practices. I have a deep interest in air and water quality, climate change, and their impacts on human health. I also am well-versed in health policy, ethics, and the social determinants of health. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate studies, I have come to the realization that scientific research is my life\'s passion. I have particular interest in researching emerging contaminants of concern such as Per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS) and pesticides and their roles in causing adverse health outcomes.
