ABOUT PHOEBE MORGAN
I am a passionate commercial fiction publisher, with a proven track record of publishing bestselling authors including the global bestseller GIRL A by Abigail Dean, Sunday Times bestsellers Catherine Cooper, C.L. Taylor, Melanie Blake, Cara Hunter, Stephanie Garber, Sophie Hannah, Lucy Score, Robert Rutherford and many more. I have experience of managing a team of 8 people and am dedicated to supporting and developing junior employees. I run a Substack called The Honest Editor aimed at improving transparency in the publishing industry.In 2018 I won a Trailblazer Award for publishing in association with the London Book Fair. In 2021 I won the Bookseller Shooting Star award for outstanding contribution to the industry, and in 2022 I was shortlisted for Editor of the Year at the British Book Awards.I am also an author and for my own writing, I am represented by Darley Anderson Literary Agency and my novels The Doll House, The Girl Next Door, The Babysitter, The Wild Girls and The Trip are out now, published by HQ (HarperCollins). They have been translated into 10 languages. I also write short stories, one of which is being adapted for film.
