As an Orientation Leader for the University of Florida Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA), I help welcome and support new occupational therapy students as they transition into the occupational therapy program. SOTA is dedicated to fostering professional development, community engagement, and networking opportunities for students interested in occupational therapy.In this role, I guide new students by providing information about resources, events, and opportunities within the program and organziation. I also help create an inclusive and supportive environment by encouraging participation and ensuring that students feel connected to both SOTA and the broader occupational therapy community.
