Started with Belk as part-time seamstress, working three nights a week. I was asked to help work out some of the problems in the receiving dept and after a short period worked my way to become Receiving Mgr. I showed a talent for working with people, computers and deadlines and after three short years with the company, I became the Human Resources person for Belk #39 in Cartersville. Transferred to the Rome Belk in Feb.
