My journey into the world of learning started unexpectedly. As a software engineer at FileMaker Inc.(an Apple subsidiary), I discovered my passion wasn\'t just for technology itself, but for how it could empower learning. That realization led me to pursue a PhD in Learning Sciences at UC Berkeley. There, I explored how innovative technologies, designed with a learning sciences perspective, can dramatically enhance both what and how people learn.Since then, I\'ve led innovation at SRI Education and HMH (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), designing effective and cutting-edge learning experiences with a focus on equity and accessibility for all learners.Now, as the Founder and President of Applied Learning Insights, I leverage my 20+ years of experience to help organizations like yours navigate the complexities of educational research, design, implementation, and technology integration.
