ABOUT PHILIP SISWICK
An experienced IT professional who has successfully delivered a number of senior IT leadership, project, programme and consultancy roles in UK, European and global organisations over more than 25 years, during which I have:• Established and run a number of IT and business change portfolios (GMAC, UBS, Siemens, Homebase, Post Office), of up to 75 projects and with annual budgets of up to £35m, implementing tooling, processes and approaches to introduce and strengthen governance and improve the benefits and success of change• Run IT teams across countries (GMAC, Siemens, Homebase) responsible for the delivery of the end to end IT service throughout the lifecycle providing day to day operation and maintenance of existing platforms and services supporting UK-wide estates of up to 375 locations in 24*7 sales and distribution businesses. Up to £75m with internal teams of up to 50 people, including business relationship, service management, IT architecture portfolio management, project and programme delivery, application support and development. • Been responsible (UBS) for the effective governance, planning and ongoing commercial management of a global IT function with an annual portfolio of up to £35m and over 300 people, of which 60% were outsourced to offshore vendors. I also ran the Global PMO for the function with a team of 6.• Reinvigorated and developed an IT compliance and information security organisation (Office Depot), with a budget of £2.5m and a team of 10, delivering greater risk and threat awareness, reduced audit risk and improved tooling and processes.• Led the development and implementation of business, organisational and IT strategies (PwC, Booz Allen, GMAC, Siemens, Homebase, Office Depot), defining and delivering programmes to transform business processes, IT landscapes and organisations, as well as proposing and delivering IT outsource programmes.• Successfully defined, initiated, delivered and turned around large, global and regional IT systems and IT and business change programmes and portfolios for a range of organisations in various industries. Durations up to 36 months, managing teams of up to 50 people, budgets of up to £25m and using a number of different structured methodologies• Worked in both insourced and outsourced environments with full accountability for managing cross-functional resource and budgets, including vendor resources. Worked in, and in support of, private sector and government organisations and currently hold a BPSS clearance.
