I am a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant at Arqiva and have a huge passion for the Media and Broadcast Industry which I have been part of since graduating from University.My career in broadcast has spanned many large technology changes that have not only transformed the industry but the viewing experiences of consumers.I enjoy gaining an understanding of customer workflows and working collaboratively to develop solutions that improve and expand capabilities.So why do I love the Media and Broadcast industry so much? Simple. It’s the rapid change of technology that drives improved pictures and sound, more choice and easy access to content to end consumers.Rapid progress on the use of end-to-end IP workflows and cloud processing are opening up more flexible workflows to broadcasters and moving from rigid multiplexed SDI signals and hardware to flexible essence flows and virtualised processing will offer huge benefits to the industry. Exciting times ahead!
