As the Global Director of Tech Policy at Clifford Chance, I work with a team of lawyers and policy experts who advise global companies on the complex and evolving legal and regulatory challenges posed by emerging technologies. I have over 10 years of experience in public policy, law, campaigns and communications, and I practice as a barrister qualified in England and Wales.My mission is to help our clients and colleagues navigate the opportunities and risks of tech innovation across the U.S, UK, EU, Middle East and Africa, and APAC regions. I specialize in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, privacy, online safety, biometrics, and IP. I also contribute to the academic and professional discourse on tech policy as the Editor of the European Advocate, the journal of the Bar European Group, and as a member of various advisory boards and committees. I am passionate about cycling, skiing, and spending time in the Czech Republic where my family is originally from. I live in the South of England with my wife and two children.
