About Phillip Poyhonen
I started my career at Google, where I gained experience in People Operations with a focus on compensation. I had the opportunity to manage many large global initiatives and was the Northern America escalation point of contact for new hire offers.From there, I moved to Nextdoor to lead the Global Compensation Team and upskilled myself across job architecture, compensation bands, partnering with business leaders, compensation planning, and executive compensation.I currently lead Ramp\'s Compensation and Rewards team and partner closely with talent, business leaders, finance, payroll, and the head of people to craft compensation and benefits programs that meet our employee needs. I look forward to continuing to build my compensation and benefits knowledge while helping Ramp scale using the expertise I gained on Google\'s People Operations team.
