District Asset Protection and Safety Manager @Weis Markets

Directly in charge of 37 stores across two districts with all their asset protection related concerns and issues. Effectively use exception based reporting system to identify dishonesty and shortage opportunities. Regularly conduct dishonest associate related investigations and interviews. Effectively partner with the Operations District Manager, Human Resource Talent manager and Merchandising Specialists to help achieve company goals. Communicate regularly with business partners to ensure understanding and compliance of Asset Protection matters. Review and evaluate store inventory results and initiate appropriate actions to reduce shrink and increase sales. Routinely manage external investigations (Vendor Fraud and Organized Retail Crime, Etc.) Analyze and evaluate people and situations and provide direction to impact performance. Effectively assist in developing policies, procedures, and best practices. Effectively enforce policies and procedures in a professional and impactful manner through consistent accountability practices. Effectively manage time and scheduling to best suit the company’s needs. Drive the company safety program in partnership with district and store leadership. Responsible for key P&L categories relating to Asset Protection and expense control. Conduct detailed P&L reviews with the District Operations Manager and use financial data to achieve and measure results.
