I currently serve as Vice President and General Counsel of Hot Topic, Inc, a retail chain specializing in music and pop culture-inspired clothing, accessories, and collectibles.In my role as General Counsel, I lead Hot Topic’s legal team and oversee a diverse range of matters, including litigation, employment law, intellectual property, data privacy, product safety and compliance, marketing and advertising, e-commerce, contracts, publicity rights (i.e, NIL), social media issues, and ADA accessibility.I am an active member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and the National Retail Federation (NRF). I have had the privilege of speaking at various ACC and NRF events, as well as other industry conferences, sharing insights on legal and compliance topics relevant to the retail and e-commerce sectors.In 2022, I was honored to be selected as a Fellow of the ACC’s Executive Leadership Institute, a program designed for senior legal executives. I also hold a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) credential.
