As Transportation & Long Range Planner, I am responsible for managing and advancing key Village projects including:1. Hoffman In Motion, a grant-funded comprehensive multimodal transportation plan with accompanying asset management system. The project seeks to expand transportation options for all people in the Village, improve access in underserved areas, and advance pedestrian safety.2. Project management of Hello Hoffman, an in-house Comprehensive & Strategic Plan. This multi-year effort is putting an emphasis on public engagement, and seeks to define the vision for Hoffman Estates both as a community, and as a local government organization.3. A comprehensive revision to the Village\'s Zoning & Development Ordinances. Like many communities, the Village has an older Zoning Code that is not user-friendly. Through this effort, we seek to create a readable code that advances Hoffman Estates\' development ambitions.4. Implementation of the Barrington/I-90 sub-area plan, including the establishment and management of the Stonington & Pembroke TIF district, and the ITEP-funded Hassell Road Bicycle and Pedestrian improvement project.
