A sophisticated 3D simulation tool was adopted for the analysis with a recommendation that supported the development program of the prolific field. That effort resulted in securing a much-needed Nigerian government approval for the Field Development Plan (FDP) of the multibillion-dollar deepwater field. Furthermore,During his work at Field Development Team, He developed an innovative novel methodology which shortened workover assessment cycle time by 60%. This resulted in 52 workover assessments within 5 months which could have taken 13 months evaluation period.Phillip was a crucial member of the team that deployed the 1st cement packer technology via non-rig intervention in Nigeria. This technique has found wide application for enhancing production recovery from zones which were previously inaccessible, thereby extending field life. Cement packer has been adopted by many international and indigenous operators across the industry.
