ABOUT PHILL RITTER
With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I lead people, training, and development strategies that help teams deliver outstanding guest experiences and consistently high standards. In my role at Market Halls, I design and deliver practical, engaging training and development initiatives that support performance, capability, and growth across a fast-paced, people-driven business.I work closely with managers and leaders to identify development needs, strengthen leadership capability, and embed a strong culture through effective training, coaching, and feedback. My focus is on creating clear development pathways, inclusive environments, and learning experiences that empower teams at every level.Previously, I held training and development roles at Wells & Co. and McMullen & Sons Ltd, where I designed and delivered large-scale training programmes, supported recruitment and induction, and partnered with leaders to improve performance and engagement across multi-site operations.I hold a Learning and Development Practitioner Level 3 qualification from the Institute for Apprenticeships & Technical Learning and am currently studying to become a Skilled Teacher, further strengthening my ability to design impactful learning experiences. I bring strong skills in people development, coaching, and engaging delivery, and Iām motivated by creating positive, memorable guest experiences while building environments where hospitality teams can truly thrive.
